Welcome to the International Technology Congress and Exhibition on Intelligent Power Management Technologies (IPMT) supported by the Ministry of Power, in May 2010.

The objective is to encourage interventions for Business and Technology Advantage and facilitate sustainable reduction of AT&C (Aggregate Technical & Commercial) losses. The benefits are highlighted in Re-structured Accelerated Power Development and Reform Programme (R-APDRP) of Ministry of Power, Govt of India.

Mr Sushilkumar Shinde, Hon'ble Minister of Power has kindly consented to inaugurate the Technology Congress and Exhibition on May 20, 2010.

This congress offers a Technology Platform (Hardware & Software), for stakeholders for integration of GRID, Vendors & Users,(Hardware and Software of Generation Transmission & Distribution) to ensure continuity of value and service

1. Aim is a FORUM for Top Decision Makers of all stake holders, sharing their vision. This will facilitate Selection of Project Technologies, taking care of High Value Asset Obsolescence(A common occurrence in tech Transfers).Deliberate on Options available in Project Models for Industry--- GOVT----- User Participation.
   
2. Renowned organisations to share Thoughts and Experiences on Technology Choices/Financing/Repayment options, Sustainability, Return on Equity (Investiture Divestiture)
   
3. The benefits of business situation(s) through a Technology Platform (Hardware & Software), with right Interoperability and Standards are expected to be highlighted.
   

Apart from Ministry of Power, Expected to join are companies (Hard ware, Soft ware along with Equipment Manufacturers, Solution Providers. Indian counterparts in Private and Public sector from Power Generation, Distribution, Transmission, Trading, Regulation, Finance along with State Electricity Boards are being invited.
